Does your child love to jump, hop, stretch and spin? Dance class promotes teamwork and self-discipline through a variety of props mixed with creative and traditional dance. Students who continue with lessons throughout the school year are eligible to participate in a formal recital at the Times Union Center in May. *Additional fees apply for this event. Session #6 – “Farm Trackers Camp” - July 18-21, Ages 6-12 Monday – Thursday, 9 am – 2 pm Join us on the farm tracking BIG ANIMALS – Farmer Larry will teach you all about how to track animals on the farm. Go on daily nature hikes to track our "big" farm animals. . Learn how animals help make our work easier - which animals dig our garden and which help clear the land. Daily crafts include making your own "Animal Track" necklace to wear and take home, making and decorating your own Trail Camp walking stick to hike the trail. Not to mention our nature SCAVENGER HUNT! Each day will include visits with all our animals as an assistant farm tracker, running and playing in the big pasture, daily take home crafts, and visits to the Fern Valley Farm kitchen for exciting kid friendly creations. 6 Week Session Option GROVELAND RESIDENTS ONLY - Bagnall Elementary School
Choose any six weeks for your child to attend. Additional weeks may be added later by contacting the Director at the established rate. Weeks CANNOT be added at the rate difference between each available session program. For example, if you register for three weeks and then decide to add two additional weeks, the cost WILL NOT be the difference between the three week program and the five week program. Golf Academy Week 6 (Mon-Fri 9 AM to 3 PM) - Lindero Country Club
The Golf Academy with PGA instruction has been designed for serious golfers with some prior knowledge and exposure to the game. Academy golfers are required to know the game of golf, golf rules and etiquette and preferably provide their own equipment. This is the HALF DAY option for Young Builder. Campers ages 4-5 will want to join us to learn exciting construction techniques using LEGO® bricks. Little Builder allows campers to take their first steps into science and engineering. By using the themes of construction and travel, campers learn about machines, the tools used to work on machines, and their functions. Our material packs include a wide range of bricks and special elements in various shapes, sizes, and colors that are ideal for stimulating childrens creative and imaginative skills. Camp counselors will introduce tasks each day in building vehicles, planes, buildings, towns and transportation systems as we work in groups to build a LEGO city! Campers receive lots of suggestions for ideas but are encouraged to use their own creativity and imagination. Stories and games are also incorporated into this camp, perfect for our youngest little campers, ages 4 and 5. Our pre-k half day camps are 9am-1pm with pre camp options available as well!
