Mixed Metaphor (Elementary School) - School of Visual Concepts
In this mixed-genre class, students have the chance to combine poetry, fiction and comics to tell epic stories about themselves and their world. They will explore new literary techniques and poetic forms while developing skills in written, oral, and visual storytelling. Students will experience all stages of the writing process—writing, revising, and sharing—ending with a celebration for family and friends. Read, Read Reading Camp for Kindergartners & First Graders - Bolles Whitehurst Campus
Beat the summer slide with fun projects, activities, and ideas that spark learning. We will concentrate on all areas of the reading process: reading, writing, speaking and listening each day and focus to enhance each students individual reading abilities.
