Yoga knows no age boundaries. It has benefits for the older and younger alike. Just B Yoga provides a quality yoga program for children that benefits the body and the mind. The camp is taught by Belinda Thurston and Monica Pino. Our classes teach children body awareness and positive self image while finding healthy movement exercises. Children will learn yoga asana (poses), pranayama (breath exercises), dharana and dhyana (focus and meditation). Young Paleontologist 7/25 - Open Door Church
Have a digger or a rock hound in the house? Then Young Paleontologist may solve your problems. Dinosaurs may be extinct, but they are very much alive during this week of camp. Special emphasis will be placed on observation, inference, data collection and just plain fun as our young scientists learn about a variety of dinosaurs and their habitats. Rocks, minerals and fossils are studied and hands may get dirty in these hands-on activities. This is Geology 101! 919-847-7625
Equestrian Adventure - Winding Creek Stables
This awesome day camp runs from 9 am until 4 pm. This session is best suited for riders who are proficient (at minimum) at the walk and posting trot. We will work on building upon riding basics, jumping, and horse care. Campers will be presenting a drill team performance at the end of camp, and we will even go on a trail ride a in DuPont Forest on Friday, August 5th! This camp is open to ages 10-16. Riders must take at least one lesson at Winding Creek to be evaluated for camp due to the overnight trip and trail ride components. If your camper is looking for a fun, intense horse experience this Summer, this two-week camp is perfect! 828-337-2250

POST CAMP PROGRAM The fun of camp lasts a week longer at a new location. A scaled down version of the popular Tons-O-Fun camp with a focus on games, sports, arts & crafts, swimming, & camper choice based activities. Experience new thrills with theme days, special events & new activities exclusive to the Post Camp program! With limited enrollment your child will get lots of attention from staff and is a great way to gear up or wind down from our traditional camp program. Post Camp week is run by our Tons-O-Fun camp staff and all policies and procedures of the regular season apply. The program offers a longer day without an additional extended care fee.
