Summer Junior Golf Camp Mitchell Spearman Golf Camps are week-long day camps for golfers of all abilities. While one week can be a perfect introduction to the game or much needed fine tuning (depending on skill level) we find that many of our golfers attending for several weeks enjoy an exponential rate of growth in both learning and FUN! We believe a good golf game starts with a positive learning experience and strive to provide that for our golfers! We are all about golf! Please select the golfer experience and identify the week/weeks your golfer will attend. Clearly identify which week/(s) of attendance so that we may reserve your slot for camp. For those interested in more than four weeks of summer golf camp (even if not consecutive) please call us to inquire. Once signed in you will be asked to identify the week your golfers will be attending. Foothills Day Camp - Session 3 - Community Services Department - City of Palo Alto
Celebrating 57 years of creating lifelong friends, long lasting memories, and a deep respect and love for nature, Foothills Day Camp is back for another incredible summer in the great outdoors. Each session includes pre and post camp, which means campers can be dropped off anytime between 7:30am-8:45am, and picked up anytime between 4-6pm (drop-off and pickup location is at the Girl Scout House). Additionally, campers will spend the second Thursday of each session sleeping under a blanket of stars at Camp Towle for the ultimate campout experience. Night activities include a delicious BBQ, animated storytelling around the campfire, a thrilling night hike, and more. You See Dirt, We See Art! - Emma Davidson - Touchstone Center for Crafts
Take a step into a whimsical world of creation and imagination when you enter Touchstones enchanted forest. You will embark on a journey between worlds, as we create beautiful art from nature. Whether you are painting with mud or building a collaborative sculpture, this week of wonder and intrigue is one you dont want to miss! Working outside and in the studio, individually and collaboratively, you will end this week with greater art making skills and a better understanding of our surrounding world. Emma Davidson earned her BFA from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Between 2012 and 2015, she was on staff at Touchstone Center for Crafts and worked as a teaching artist for various organizations in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Currently, Emma is living Juneau, Alaska, where she is enjoying a year-long, dual art and teaching residency at the Canvas. Her artwork has exhibited in several states and are part of SCADs permanent collection. 724-329-1370
