This 3 week workshop puts an in depth focus on the skills needed to succeed in theatre and performance. For Boys and Girls ages 4-12 We are very excited about our location for the Summer!! This camp offers a combination of traditional sports games like floor hockey, soccer, basketball, flag football, handball, wiffleball, physical education activities such as tag games, pinball, battleship, virtual space tag, north south, gold rush, capture the football, and various cooperative games. We ask that our full day campers bring a (peanut butter free) snack and lunch and water bottle, and our half day campers bring a peanut butter free snack and water bottle. Children are divided by age into small groups and will participate in developmentally appropriate activities for their groups. Generally the groups contain children of no more than a year apart and we do our best to maintain an 8:1 ratio of campers to coaches and sometimes even 6:1 for our youngest groups. Come for 1 or 2 weeks! These programs are aimed at beginner to intermediate level students. Because our classes are small groups, instructors can gauge each students skill level and assign projects appropriately. All students will receive their own DAE 8GB flash drive to store their work on and take home! Watching movies is awesome but how do you make them? This class introduces students to the basic concepts of creating movies! Students will learn composition techniques to create interesting shots, how to tell a good story with clever editing and how to plan out their own project. Join and start improving your filmmaking skills today.
