Camp Fowler Festif - Orefield, PA
Now in its 5th year, Festif is a family fun event that combines cycling, trail running, entertainment, food, and fun. Rides range from family friendly distances to a quad burning 44 miles. All riders will have cue sheets and routes well marked. There will be rider support on each route and both the 20 and 44 mile route each have a well stocked rest stop. NEW for 2016: 5k and 10k Fox and Hound runs! Chase our "fox" around Camp Fowler during these trail runs. The 5k is both family and walker friendly and prizes will be given to anyone who is able to follow the foxes clues and catch them before the finish. Cycling or running isn't for you? Teen Cooking Camp: Session 1 - Rochester, MN
Your West Circle Drive Hy-Vee is offering a series of cooking classes designed to teach teens (age 12-17) essential cooking skills! Teens will be able to eat their creations at the end of the class. Classes will be held every Thursday 11:00 – 12:30pm for five weeks starting July 14th. July 14th: Knife skills and cooking basics: chef salads Classes will be taught in our DISH classroom by the in-store dietitian and one of our talented chefs. Fees: $25 per class OR $100 for entire 5-week series, due on date of registration. Registration required at least 72 hours prior to scheduled class. Our Children's Trust, Rogue Climate, the Geos Institute, and Trail Treckers are coming together to host a one day training for youth and their parents on how to become effective advocates for a stable climate. Elementary through high school students from around the Rogue Valley are welcome! Suggested ages are 9-18. Bring a sack lunch, and we will provide snacks!
