My 10 year old daughter loves participating in Girl Scouts. When she asked about going to this camp I got her signed up right away. She had fun meeting other campers and she came back home with a vision of who she wants to be in her future. Leaders will have the opportunity to "connect" with other youth leaders in ministry, and to share ideas and resources! Bring printed material on events you would like to promote to share with the group. You will hear about some great opportunities for ministry through this camp for special needs students. This will also be our "elections" business session at 11:15 prior to lunch. All voting members are encouraged to be present. Also, those who want may join the Coordinator to be praying for our campuses, students, and leaders about 30 min. prior to the start. Water Week East: Get ready for a splash-tastic week of camp! Campers build watersheds, learn boat safety lessons, study aquatic life and canoe at Cheney Lake. 2016 Richmond Mountain Bike Camp - St. Catherines School
Richmond has some of the best urban mountain biking trails around! Join the staff of Virginia Outside for daily instruction, trail rides and lots of fun. Campers will develop beginner and intermediate mountain biking skills including: steering, shifting, hill climbing and descending, log hopping, dodging obstacles, etiquette, maintenance, safety and more. Campers will ride in the morning, have an activity such as tubing or snorkeling on the James River, then get back on the bikes in the afternoon. Virginia Outside provides mountain bikes and helmets, but campers are welcome to bring their own. 804-272-6362
