Environmental Art Camp (VSA Tennessee partnership) - Gallatin, TN
Environmental Art Camp is a program created specifically for individuals with disabilities over the age of 13 who are interested in the environment and have a love of art. The camp will be under the direction of VSA Tennessee teaching artist, Dee Kimbrell. During the camp, the young people will learn about environmental issues and their effect on our national parks. Participants will create their own tunnel books that reflect ecosystems within the parks. They will also create a larger tunnel book specific to the Smoky Mountain National Park. This book will be given to the park as a 100th anniversary gift at Tremont in October. The book will remain on site as an educational tool. Teen Idol/ Tween Idol Camps - Hewitt, TX
Do you want to be a SUPER STAR? Come perform songs from some of the most famous "Idols" in History. Learn how artist such as Elvis Presley and The Beach Boys impacted music forever. Teen Yoga Camp - Bryan, TX
Meeting Monday-Friday, 1-5p, the student will get TWO yoga classes each day, Vinyasa and Restorative. We will also have time to create different elements/crafts that will help the student continue this practice after the camp is finished. We will make journals, mala beads, eye pillows, and they will learn to blend tea and make their own blend to take home. The price also includes 3 additional weeks of unlimited yoga. Our desire with this program is to offer an avenue for the youth in our community to learn how to quiet their mind and to build self-awareness. Studies have shown learning these basic human fundamentals help increase tests scores, better decision making, improved communication skills.

Young Robot Builder - Goleta Presbyterian Church
This camp is an introduction into the world of robotics. Campers will be introduced to six simple machines and how they are incorporated into more complex machines. Campers will learn about circuits and power sources as they build our Mars-like RC Rover. The radio-controlled RC Rover is capable of performing 23 experiments and activities. Campers will also have fun constructing our Aluminum Can Robot and will work in the areas of observation, experimentation and trial and error as they build, race, and experiment with their robots. Campers will be able to take home the robots they build for hours of fun after the camp week has finished! Price includes a lab fee of $45. 805-570-1988
