Weeks 5-8 PM: 420 Racing Program (Session 2) - NESS
Come learn what it takes to be successful in fleet and team racing (the fun and challenging form of sailing as a team sport). Our experienced race coaches will challenge students to perfect their boat handling techniques, with the skipper and crew developing and refining coordination and mutual reliance. Students will work on improving and refining their boat-handling skills and developing together as a two-person team. Students will be challenged to perfect their upwind and downwind sailing techniques and will learn to better use hiking straps, tiller extensions, and sail controls and will develop their spinnaker and trapeze skills. Students will expand their knowledge of wind, weather, and tides, and will work on basic racing techniques and rules. Students will be encouraged to compete in the many local 420 regattas that we tow boats to by water. All students will be under the supervision of our race coaches in class and at local regattas. In addition to fleet racing, coaches will teach the techniques, tactics and rules of team racing through practice drills and a practice-race format. Frontiersman Camp Session 1 - Two Weeks - New England Frontier Camp
The Frontiersmen program is the first step in Christian Servant Leadership at NEFC. Young men will spend time each day in behind-the -scenes camp service and begin training for Christian Leadership, then enjoy exciting activities like airsoft, riflery, wakeboarding, team building, and much more! Campers can choose one session for two consecutive weeks or multiple sessions for more than two weeks of great Camp fun! Fullerton Futbol Academy Youth Camp - Cal State Fullerton Titan Stadium
The Cal State Fullerton Womens soccer team along with the Fullerton Futbol Academy is excited to announce the return our youth soccer camp held on campus here at Cal State Fullerton. This will be a fun filled week of soccer development where every camper will learn the necessary skills to excel in the sport. The camps will provide campers the opportunity to train with the Fullerton coaching staff as well as Cal State Fullerton college soccer players from the mens and womens programs This camp is meant for competitive or recreational players between the ages of 5-12. Each day of a camp a new concept will be introduced and trained with every session ending with a soccer game or competition.
