Acting Camp/Acting UP ( Grades 3 - 5)Plainsboro is thrilled to offer this popular camp for the eighth year! Through theater games, acting exercises, monologues, improvisation, scene work, and theatrical movie time, students will expand their theater knowledge, build confidence, express themselves, and learn to work well with an ensemble. A presentation of the students hard work will be performed for astonished family and friends on the final day of each camp. The programs expert level clinicians will provide hands-on instruction of topics from the very basics of sports medicine care to the integration of cutting edge approaches to injury prevention, rehabilitation, and athletic performance. The program includes: Anatomy and Musculoskeletal Injury Emergency Preparedness Injury and Illness Prevention Movement and Performance Located in the heart of the Silicon Valley, see firsthand how advanced technologies positively impact injury recovery and training. Recommended for high school students interested in sports medicine or a career in athletic training. Specifically for those with no experience in Sports Medicine and students who have not taken a sports medicine class.
