Senior Morning Camp - Lewis & Clark College
Senior camp is centered on small group instruction in technique, nutrition, and training for specific events. Our coaches go beyond the basics and fundamentals, instructing campers based on their age, experience, and goals. Our coaches are well-versed in the best coaching and training methods and are excited to share that knowledge with our campers. Events include pole vault, shot put, discus, sprints, long jump, high jump, javelin and distance running. Athletes will receive three full days of comprehensive training, technique and drills. Eco-Kids: Aquatic Adventures Mini-Camp PM - Blue Jay Point County Park
Description: Frogs and newts and water bugs, oh my! Meet many kinds of aquatic critters as we explore Blue Jay Point?s pond, streams, and shores of Falls Lake. We?ll also spend time learning about all things aquatic through crafts, stories, snacks, and more! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eco-Kids is a three-day mini-camp at Blue Jay Point County Park for children ages 4-5 years old ready for independent learning. All participants should wear play clothes and closed-toe shoes, and bring weather appropriate outerwear to each Eco-Kids session. Musical Improv - Pop Songs Level 2 - Eric Schackne - iO West
Youre making up songs, and they sound pretty great. Everybody thinks so. Yet, youre curious how to make future songs sound pretty greater. This workshop moves past the rigid structure that got your improv songwriting on its feet, and smoothes out the edges. Week one takes you back through song structure and function in finer detail, adding some new ways to build on simplicity. The second week works on two pairs of skills – beginnings/endings & leading/following. Week three delves into the wild world of fancy tricks and slick pop moves to prep your tool belt for heaps of song types. The only requirements are completion of Pop Songs Level 1 and a vested interest in ear-friendly musical makes ups. Taught by iOWest Musical Director Eric Schackne (323) 962-7560

YOU ARE REGISTERING FOR CHAMPION CLASSES AT TPC ON WEDNESDAYS FROM 6-7PM The Champion Level Program is for players looking to expand their golf skills, improve on-course play, and, for players who may be interested, playing high school golf. The Champion Program focuses on short putting, long putting, short chipping, long chipping, pitching (high shots), pitching (low shots), posture and best routines, grip basics, club face control, driving success, iron consistency, hybrid and fairway metals and on-course strategies. Our lesson plans will go more in depth in etiquette, rules of golf, golf skills, shot making, and begin discussions for those that want to pursue local competitions. The Champion Session Package Includes: - Three 60-minute supervised practice sessions - One 60-minute On-Course Coaching Session (held at course to be determined) - One 30-minute private lesson with a Suzy Certified Instructor - SWJGA Hat - Low Student-Instructor Ratio Requirements for the Champion Level Program: - Ages 7-17 (based on class size, players will be grouped by age) - Consistently Scores 48-60 for 9 Holes and has passed the Medalist Benchmarks (860) 306-6059
