MODIFIED Full Day Camp MODIFIED Full day camps provide an excellent opportunity for junior golfers to improve their technical skills as well as develop strong course management skills. Participants are placed in smaller groups based on their experience level in order to create the most favorable learning environment possible. Each day kicks off with hands-on instruction and includes drills, training exercises, and skill-development inspired games all designed to reach juniors what they need to know to have fun and feel confident on the course. Kodu & Logo Programming - The Evergreen School
Students will learn how to program their own computer games and simulations, using Microsofts Kodu interactive game development environment and NetLogo, developed at Northwestern University. They will design their own landscapes for their Kodu character to navigate, add apples to collect and score points, and much more in this visual, block-based programming language. Well learn NetLogo by exploring models of ant colonies, traffic simulations, and the theory of wolf-sheep predation. Then students will design their own scenarios and even create games by typing in simple text-based code. No previous experience necessary. 206-957-1533
