Counselor In Training (CIT) Camp - Camp Talahi
Being a counselor-in-training (CIT) is a leadership opportunity for high school students. CITs lead younger campers during their camp sessions, helping younger kids make friends, try new things, and have a great time. CIT camp is an opportunity learn all the skills it takes to be an amazing counselor, from leading songs and games to public speaking, time management and group leadership. Being a CIT is one of the best experiences at Camp Talahi! You must attend this training week to be a CIT for summer 2016. Weekly Theme: Beach Balance like a palm tree, roar like a lion, and stretch like a giraffe in this fun-filled yoga camp! Camp begins with a 40 minute class where students learn new poses and breathing techniques each day on an imaginary yoga adventure. Class ends by relaxing with peaceful music. After class, the excitement continues with yoga stories and games, a break for lunch, and a creative take-home art activity.
