10th-12th Grade week is much different than any of our other weeks. It occurs at the same time as our 7th-9th grade week; however, they do not have the same schedule as 7th-9th graders. Is there a better place to spend a week of your summer than at camp? For over 80 years, Grindstone Lake Bible Camp has been a summer tradition for many families! Located on the beautiful shores of Grindstone Lake in Sandstone MN, Grindstone Lake Bible Camp offers many opportunities for summer fun, and this year is no exception! Documentary Teen Camp - Houston, TX
Young film enthusiasts learn how to make documentaries in a safe and fun environment. Learn story development, camera operation, lighting, sound, interviewing, editing and work with a real orchestra to score your final film. Invite your friends and family to watch your final documentary on screen. The campers will work with the music students in the film scoring program during the AFA's 2016 Summer Music Conservatory at Pershing Middle School. An apple a day keeps the doctor away? but how do you keep an entire community healthy and safe from terrorist attacks, deadly disease outbreaks, unsafe food and water, rabies, rats and other public health threats? Find out during Camp Public Health at Columbus Public Health. Campers will learn what it takes to protect community health in the 15th largest city in the country through hands-on activities with public health professionals including nurses, sanitarians, epidemiologists and doctors. They?ll also gain insight into active living features such as Art Walks, stream sampling, healthy foods and community gardens, as well as the use of Facebook, Twitter and YouTube to promote public health. Flexible drop off time between 7:15-9 am. Flexible pick up time between 4-6 pm. Breakfast and lunch provided.
