Threes (M/W/F) (birthdays between 9/1/12 and 8/31/13) - JCC ECP
Daily activities for children who are in the three-year-old program are based upon projects and units of study that are interesting and meaningful to those children. A balanced schedule provides experiences in group and individual settings and includes stories, music, language experiences, natural discovery, and inquisitive discussions that include research. Classrooms are arranged into centers that include educational toys, materials, and games based upon age appropriateness and the interests of the children. These include centers for books, blocks, sensory materials, art, puzzles and manipulatives, math, science, and dramatic play. Children have the opportunity to work and play in these centers individually, with a friend, or in small groups. Choosing centers provides practice in making decisions, following directions, working independently, and learning about the care and use of materials. Outside time offers opportunities for gross motor development (including climbing, running, jumping, pedaling, and building), social interactions, as well as a chance to experience weather and seasons. Children can also experiment with sand and water during these outside periods. Daily group times provide opportunities for your child to learn in a large group setting. Vocal Performance Workshop - St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic School
This class is for 4th-8th grade students. Through the Vocal Performance Workshop, students will: learn foundational vocal technique, as well as techniques used in different musical styles; shape and strengthen their vocal instrument with breathing and singing exercises; explore performance practices of interpretation, connection with the audience, stage movement, and microphone use; understand how to care and use their voice in healthy ways. The participants will sing in the Conservatory Recital on Saturday, May 14th (time TBA). 901-435-5843

Instructor: Lauren Ditchley -- During this camp photographers explore the medium of photography in many forms. We will experiment with traditional methods of image making - Cyanotype prints, pinhole photography, black and white darkroom, as well as current techniques in digital photography and photoshop editing. It would be helpful for students to have a point and shoot digital camera to use during this camp. This does not need to be an expensive camera, just something you might already own. 317-202-2500
