Summer programs provide innovative camps/programs that promote learning in a safe, friendly and fun environment. Build an App Workshop - 4.0 Schools
Ever wonder what its like to work at a tech company? In this workshop, well look at the many aspects of what goes into building a product like Facebook or Twitter. Students will wear many hats, playing the role of product designers, developers, and customers. To top it all off, students will build their own application and gain a basic understanding of the Ruby programming language. This is a great introduction to programming for teens in grades 9-12. Eric Wales, Director: Sports have always played a major part in Erics life, having played competitive soccer, baseball, football, basketball, and tennis while growing up. He continued competing at the club level at Penn State while earning his Business Management degree. $225 for members of participating organizations; $250 for non-members Come to our waterfront to play music, get creative, bake bread and construct books while exploring the theme of "water." Children enjoy new experiences each day at four top arts centers, including the Guthrie Theater, Mill City Museum, Minnesota Center for Book Arts and MacPhail Center for Music. Campers will start each day at Mill City Museum and walk with camp leaders less than three blocks to each art organization.
