It has helped him become a leader, solve problems, increased his self-esteem, develop independent thinking skills and improved his communication skills. 2nd Annual Fox Camp Youth Hunt - undefined, MS
Hosted by Jeremy and Joni McLarty. Saturday, November 5th. Eat at 12:00, draw for hunting spots at 1:30, hunt at 2:30 until dark (exact stopping time will be announced on day of hunt). All people who attend Beulah Church are invited to come eat and attend event, and any non-hunters are invited to hang out at the cabin during hunt. Open to any kids between the ages of 5 and 11 years-old who attend Beulah Church. All entries must have an adult who is over the age of 21 to accompany them on their hunt. All entries and accompanying adults must sign a release form on day of hunt. Limit one buck and one doe per kid. The hunt will be held at Jumper Lake this year, only a few miles from the church. Each participant is asked to bring their own ATV or 4-wheel drive truck if possible, if not then please let hosts know ahead of time so we can try to make arrangements for you. Peace Ed's Teen Leaders for Diversity/PeaceCasters: Making Media that Matters Winter Camp may be for them! Tuesday, December 27 - Friday, December 30, 9 am - 4 pm Registration Now Open! Our PeaceCasters/Teen Leaders for Diversity camps are divided between exploring and deepening the basic skills around affirmation, communication and cooperation that are core to Peace Ed's work and the fundamental skills of digital video-making. During this four-day camp for 12 - 17 year olds we will create short videos about youth and peacemakers in our community who are helping to create a better world. The PeaceCasters camp is designed to build skills while also providing a fun experience. Activities will include plenty of cooperative games and visits from some special guests such as youth activists and local experts from the world of videography and filmmaking. This camp is designed to help 11 to 14 year old girls develop sound field hockey fundamentals and a love of the game, all while having fun! Players will learn individual skills, starting with how to hold a field hockey stick and progressing to dribbling, shooting, dodges, and individual defense. We will also work on team skills such as passing, team defense, corners and much more. Players will have a chance to develop and improve their field hockey ability through drills and games. Coach Rob Czlonka and Coach Chase Wooten Camps are designed to provide training for youth players with aims at developing the techniques needed to be successful in the game of soccer. Each session will include the Following: Dribbling, Controlling surfaces, 1v1 exercises, passing and receiving, and some small group games. Players will receive a NSU Soccer T-shirt. Campers need to bring with them (1) indoor and outdoor athletic shoes, (2) a full water bottle/Jug (3) shin guards with socks over them. 918-444-3997
