The year 2015 will mark the 48th year that Saint Marys College will be offering outstanding Athletic Summer Camps to children between the ages of 6-18. Saint Marys was one of the first institutions in Northern California to offer residential day camps specializing in athletics. Nestled in the plush Moraga Valley, Saint Marys College is one of the most picturesque campuses on the West Coast. Our summer camps provide a convenient location. Children have the luxury of having camp right in their own backyard or may have a chance to get away for a true camp experience as a resident camper and live like college students, with a roommate, in spacious resident halls. These accommodations and most camps are complemented by delicious meals served by Sodexho Services. This distinguished food service provides a buffet with a variety of healthy and nutritious foods. Saint Marys College is very fortunate to have some of the finest collegiate coaches in the area. Each head coach selects and trains his/her own staff of top level coaches and collegiate players. Kentucky 4-H Teen Summit is held annually at the Kentucky 4-H Educational Center in Jabez, KY. The conference is for youth who are currently enrolled in 6th, 7th, or 8th grades. This program is designed to develop leadership, citizenship and communication skills in youth. While at the conference, all participants get to learn in fun and educational workshops taught by members of the Kentucky 4-H State Teen Council. The conference also includes motivational speakers that get young people excited about leadership. The cost to attend is $115 which includes meals, lodging, and transportation. All proceeds support Hudson Guild’s free summer camp for kids in need. $50 in advance (through June 2), $60 at the door Hudson Guild is a community-based social services organization rooted in and primarily focused in Chelsea. Each year, Hudson Guild provides a wide range of services, from early childhood education to programs for seniors, including PreK, afterschool, teen services, mental health care, and both visual and performing arts – for over 14,000 underprivileged members of our community. Does your child love the stage? Love to create and give life to other characters? Or could your child use an extra boost of confidence? This camp is designed for children new to theatre, using activities in role playing, improvisation, pantomime, and scene writing to bring the theatre to life for young actors. Students will also learn about staging and putting a show together. This camp will culminate with a performance Friday afternoon for family and friends. 207.846.2376

This football camp starts our young players with a love for the game and correct instruction to play the game. Young boys love to run and jump and play. Many of them also love to roll around and tussle. If you have such a boy, we would like to help him channel these natural inclinations into a love of the game of football, and to guide him in learning the fundamentals of how to run, throw, catch, kick, block, and tackle. Staffed by SCDS coaches and players the camp will guide youngsters toward an understanding of the basics. Campers will gain an understanding of football rules, terminology, and basic strategy. Each day will include individual instruction as well as competitive flag football games. Athletes of all experience levels are welcome and no equipment is required other than cleats/sneakers, athletic clothes and a willingness to play hard and have fun. MUNCHKIN TENNIS CAMP - Adams Park
Munchkin Tennis Camp is designed to introduce campers to the game of tennis. Well focus on basic strokes, developing hand-eye coordination and having fun. Supplies: Campers will need to bring a tennis racket and plenty of water each day. All campers should arrive at camp with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen, as needed.
