Design, make and wear your own fashion gear. This class will involve hand sewing, painting on fabric, jewelry design, fashion illustration, knitting, and learning to do fashion hairstyles. Your teacher, a fashion designer, will inspire you to try new things and express your personal style! Instructor: Britt Rynearson has been teaching art and design for 14 years and has worked extensively with students ages 3 to 18. She sold her own line of jewelry when she was 11 at local farmers markets! In the last few years Britt has taught for Cornish College of the Arts, Pratt Fine Arts Center, Gage Academy, Coyote Central, Centrum, and the Northwest School. SharpeSkills Fitness Summer Camp - Clover Park Open Space
SharpeSkills Fitness Camp is designed for youth of all athletic levels who are looking for a challenge. The program pushes kids past their usual limitations and helps them reach their highest fitness goals. The camp focuses on long distance running, parachute sprinting, hand and eye coordination techniques, agility, and resistance training using the TRX body-weight exercise straps along with the RIP trainer exercise resistance pole, and mixed martial arts training. Step into the shoes of a Coffee Shop performer! Explore how to perform through the eyes of a musician as you learn the fundamentals of guitar, singing, drums, keys, and other instruments. Campers will learn to sing, play common chord progressions and use their talents to perform in under a coffee shop setting.
