Summer Camp - Week #8 Olympic Week Welcome to the Olympics! We will separate campers into different teams at the beginning of the week. It will be up to them to create a new nation and flag to compete in this weeks Olympic Games. Throughout the week they will compete against each other to take home the gold. Our field trip will be to the St. Clair bowling alley. At the end of the week we will have a fantastic food Friday! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you are paying a deposit of $20 to reserve your week, the remainder of the payment will automatically set to be deducted from your credit card the Monday of the week before camp begins. Following a sold-out debut last year, we are bringing back the joy of camp, but for grown-ups only. Grown-Up Summer Camp is a day-long immersive experience with artists, musicians, chefs, curators, and performers throughout the campus. Activities include making cardboard forts to battle rival campers, discovering hidden areas of the IMA campus, foraging the woods for edible plants, and cooking dinner with Cerulean chef Caleb France. Cap off the day gathering by the campfire with a drink with live music by local bands. ?Little Hands, Open Minds & Big Hearts? Learn how little hands with a big heart can change our community through art. Under the mentorship of a YAV artists, students will learn the fundamentals of drawing, painting, sculpture and assemblage art. Through classes where the students learn the vocabulary used in the different art forms to specially designed projects that bring together little hands, open minds and big hearts to create and exhibit their work, the students will grow as individual artists with a teamwork mentality. This version of the game focuses on the fundamental skills of rugby which help develop basic motor skills and coordination, while also having a huge emphasis on having fun!
