Eco Explorer After School Club Session 4 - EcoAdventures
Eco-Explorer After School Club AWARD WINNING PROGRAM **Voted 2nd Place for Best Afterschool Program by Severna Park Voice! Grades K – 8 Mon-Fri 4-6pm (students will be divided up into groups for age appropriate instruction and activities) Throughout each excitement-filled 8 week session, students will enjoy a variety of hands-on FUN activities that are guaranteed to blow their minds! From animal interactions, to games, hikes, some field trips, experiments and crafts. Students will also enjoy guest speakers from various professions such as, veterinary medicine, herpetology (special visits and instruction will be provided by National Geographics Dr. Brady Barr), marine biology, animal rescuing, zoo keeping, falconry, The Brickhouse, Jing Ying Kung Fu, learn about genetics with snake breeder, and much more to see what it takes to have an animal career! Daily lessons include animal care and husbandry, animal training and enrichment, public speaking, research tactics, program planning, team building, and leadership. This program is ideal for students who are interested in training to be an EcoAdventures Jr. Assistant.
