Summer Camps - Waterford, WI
The weather outside is frightful but the days are getting longer. Time to start thinking about Summer Camp. Join us for summer camps filled with fun filled days of horsemanship, games, crafts, and new friends. Campers will learn how to safely walk a horse, groom, tack, and wash a horse, horse anatomy, basic vet care, basic hoof care, riding fundamentals, horsemanship, and equitation. Session 2: July 11- August 5 - Summit Schools
3-year olds (who are toilet trained) to children entering Kindergarten may enroll for morning preschool, available 5, 3, OR 2 days a week. A small class size of 16 students to 1 early childhood certified teacher and 1 trained associate enhances learning. The groundwork for early language, math and science skills is formed utilizing multi-sensory, child-centered activities. A unique phonics-based teaching system brings the alphabet to life, as it lays the foundation for reading. This two-week program will allow your child to prepare for success in the following school year. The course is taught by Sandra Schwartz, who holds a Bachelors in Education with a minor in Mathematics and an M.Ed., and has been working in the North Merrick UFSD since 2008. Sandra currently teaches Computer and Technology at Camp Avenue School.
