2016 Pre-Teen Summer Camp – Register March 9-11 - Scott Air Force Base
Youth, ages 9-13, are invited to register for the YP Pre-Teen Summer Camp which is held weekdays during the summer months from 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This camp offers half day care with extracurricular activities for youth. Field trips will be conducted once a week to places like Sky Zone, City Museum, Raging Rivers Water Parks, The Fusion, laser tag, as well as excursions to base activities. (Field trips/activities such as bowling are an additional cost.) Fee: $100/child per week, plus the cost of excursions. Youth Programs membership is required. Annual Program membership is $48/child. Camp begins at 6:30 a.m., and ends at 12:30 p.m. when open recreation at the Youth Center starts. Youth are required to bring their own meals, however the snack bar is open periodically. Limited slots are available, sign-up early! Registration will coincide with School Age Program Summer Camp registration days, March 9-11 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more details, call Youth Programs at 256-5139.

Hoopstarz Basketball Co-Ed Camp - Bascom Community Center
Experience an unforgettable basketball training camp. The program is designed to teach boys and girls the fundamentals in basketball, which include: dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, positions, and offensive and defensive tactics. We focus on the whole player. Players will leave focused, goal oriented, and with an attitude to succeed. Participants will receive a Hoopstarz T-Shirt and a chance to win awards and prizes. Come enjoy a week of theatrical experiences including: playwriting, costume design, the actors process, and even performance! Students will work collaboratively to create a short play which will be performed at the end of the week. They will use both imagination and research to inform their artistic choices in everything from design work to acting. Additionally, students will explore improvisational theatre in both long and short forms as a means to stimulating the playwriting process and deepening their acting skills. Students with and without theatre backgrounds are invited to come explore, learn, and play! Rachel Wright is a passionate theatre educator who seeks to help her students grow their understanding and compassion for the world, life, and humanity through the magnificent practice of theatre. She has a BS in Theatre Arts Education from Appalachian State University. After college she moved to New York to pursue a career in theatre. She was accepted by Circle in the Square Theatre Conservatory Program where she concentrated on her craft. Upon graduating she began performing in countless off and off-off broadway productions. The Cal State Fullerton Womens soccer team along with the Fullerton Futbol Academy is excited to announce the return our youth soccer camp held on campus here at Cal State Fullerton. This will be a fun filled week of soccer development where every camper will learn the necessary skills to excel in the sport. The camps will provide campers the opportunity to train with the Fullerton coaching staff as well as Cal State Fullerton college soccer players from the mens and womens programs This camp is meant for competitive or recreational players between the ages of 5-12. Each day of a camp a new concept will be introduced and trained with every session ending with a soccer game or competition. The camp will be offered in half day from 9am-12pm or full day from 9am-3pm (Lunch Provided).
