How Are Staff Members At Camp Trained?
During staff training, counselors and other staff members are trained in basic youth development, behavior management and common issues, group formation, diversity and cultural competency. Common issues like homesickness are also touched on, and counselors are reminded of the importance of encouraging youth to reach their full potential. The camp’s culture and mission as well as the schedule and related activities are also explained in full detail. Additionally, staff learn basic first aid and how to manage different emergencies.

This course has been developed by coaches and parents who are also parents. We care about your kids! Your Kids will: ● Realize core to extremity movement ● Learn proper nutrition to fuel the body ● Increase endurance ● Learn skills they can use for life,including athletic training skills ● Connect with their bodies through FUN! The sessions will run from 1pm to 4 pm each day and will consist of basketball skill instruction, speed and agility training, and other basketball activities.

The kids are out of school, but they need to burn off some extra energy before Thanksgiving Day. Get your grocery shopping done while your child learns to fly. Open to beginners and students who have taken class this semester (Ages 8-12). $40 per student, $60 for sibling rate. Space is Extremely Limited, so make sure you book today. Please join us for a week of serious Bible study. We are inviting men aged 18 and older to come and study God’s word together with us. The men who will present lessons are all devoted to the word of God and to teaching that word to others. The classes will be designed to be a particular help to those who are preachers and teachers but all are welcome to come. Each day we we will have six sessions with each speaker having about an hour to present. Each evening, our speakers will form a panel for a question and answer session. Our plan is to have everyone arrive on Monday evening in time for supper. Our studies will begin on Tuesday morning and go through Friday evening. We have enough room for everyone to stay overnight at the camp location. We will be providing meals and snacks throughout the week. To cover these expenses as well as utilities for the facility, we are charging a $75 fee.
