The power of the ocean is supreme, come learn to harness this power! The ocean and its connections with land give us the ultimate tool to play with – strong winds and crashing waves. This week you will have the opportunity to utilize them both. Test your skills in harnessing the wind while riding on a windsurf board. Learn how to predict, select and judge waves while surfing. Alive Kid's Camp - McKinney, TX
Kid's Camp is just around the corner for kids ages 8-12. We will be headed to the district camp this year, called Alive Kid's Camp. We are looking forward to meeting kids from other churches, having life-changing spiritual experiences during the services, and lot of fun activities during the day. Daytime activities will include: swimming, lake activities, paddleboats, ziplining, rock climbing wall, and messy team games. Cost is $250 per student. $100 deposit and all camp forms found in the camp packet are due by April 12. The remaining balance will be due by June 7. Camp packets are available now! In this imaginative camp you will write, direct, rehearse and preform a masterpiece puppet presentation. Learn how to design, create and manipulate puppets. We will learn about the different styles of puppets, as well as set design, voice acting and stage etiquette. Expect a visit and performance from a professional Puppet Company! Experiments in Sculpture with Jennifer Van Elswyck (Ages 7-11) - Young People
Students will work in 3-D using paper, clay, plaster, cardboard, recyclables, and papier mache. Emphasis will be on students interests. This course includes a trip to the Yale Art Gallery. 2035624927 x14

This summer will be the 22nd year of Adventure Amputee Camp and we keep getting better. We will have a bus ready to pick up campers in Atlanta and take them to camp or you can meet us at camp in Bryson City, NC. Applying to Camp: Priority will be given to new campers and those put on the waiting list last year. Also, medical and liability releases will be required for the safety of your camper and for camp. We can accommodate a maximum of 34 campers. Upon receipt of your application and selection to camp, we will send you a complete information packet with all the camp preparation details. What does it cost? Thanks to the generosity of many donors, a $25 application fee for first time campers, and $50 application for repeat campers. If this fee presents a hardship, check the appropriate box on the application form, and the fee is waived. No camper is turned away due to financial hardship.
