LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Summer Games 2016 - Maranatha Christian Schools
Come experience fun participating in "Multi Sports Camp" for a week with us! This camp is a combination of four different camps where you play, learn, and participate in the following sports being offered: Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Martial Arts/Cheer. Everyday campers get to play and learn a different sport and the last day of camp all campers play a scrimmage game for 20 minutes in each sport. Come join us for the week and make new friends! Be ready to have lots of fun, open to the community. America's Talent Tutoring Adolescent Services is hosting it's first annual summer camp. We will be utilizing basketball as a platform to discuss health and fitness. The camp will also focus on the realities that we face in the world such as bullying, interaction with law enforcement, individual life skills abilities. With the right type of foundation being provided our youth will have insurmountable success and the desire to pursue secondary and post secondary education. The summer camp will assist parents by providing support and resources parents can utilize to keep an idle mind occupied.

Remix Youth would like to invite you, your family, and your friends Easter morning to our Youth Camp Breakfast Fundraiser! Our menu includes: pancakes, sausage gravy, biscuits, fruit, donuts, muffins, coffee, and juice. Youth Camp can be a life changing week for our teenagers! However, it can be a financial burden for some. The cost for camp this year is $275 per student. The cost includes travel, housing, meals, and secondary health insurance. We want to remove as many obstacles as possible that would prevent a student from attending camp. All donations received at our Easter breakfast will go toward students in need of financial assistance. Thank you for your investment into the lives of our Remix teens! Young Archeologist - Goleta Presbyterian Church
Do you know how Geology, Archaeology & Paleontology are alike? Answer: They all involve digging in dirt to find answers about the past! In this camp, you will learn about fossils, dinosaurs, human history, artifacts, and Native American arrowheads, shells and pottery, rocks and minerals, and medicinal plants. Campers will have the time of their lives digging in dirt, painting with actual paint rock chunks from a quarry, and learning the secrets that our earth holds. Go on our archaeological dig, crack open a Geode, find dinosaur bones and other fossils, pan for gems & minerals, make sand painted medallions, and create your own real arrow. You dont need to travel out of town for a first-rate basketball camp! Experience a FUNdamental basketball camp on our own SCDS campus! The Camp will be Directed by our Head Girls Basketball Coach Bobbi Mock. Coach Mock brings 19 years of coaching experience to this camp and is excited about helping your child develop better basketball skills. This revamped camp has extended hours to ensure development of proper form and fundamentals, including shooting form, footwork, timing the shot, lay¬ups, jump shots, etc. Time will also be devoted to game situations and scrimmages. Emphasis will be placed on the skills needed for basketball success! Coaches from around GA will be guest speakers at camp, including Toby Wagoner from GSU and Fala Blalock from Armstrong, among others. Camp will utilize three SCDS gyms (Demere, Saunders, Old Gym).
