Renaissance offers an 8-week summer camp program, which typically begins in the middle of June, for children ages four and a half to eleven years old. The camp curriculum has been developed to encompass a wide variety of activities suited to each age groups maturity and interests Campers can participate from one to eight weeks as long as space is available. We offer half and full day camps in most locations. JumpStart Kids & Teens Camp - Medina, OH
CrossFit HighGear offers two JumpStart camps to choose from! KIDS CAMP runs from June 6 - 10 while TEEN CAMP runs from June 13 - 17 both from 10 am - noon. Registration includes a t-shirt and daily snack! Campers will participate in a strength and conditioning program that combines gymnastics, body-weight calisthenics and weightlifting elements. Participants learn to move their bodies and move them well, making them fitter and more resilient day to day. We focus on quality of movement before we push intensity. Regardless of age, ability or experience, campers benefit physically as their bodies adapt and become stronger, faster and more flexible. For Boys and Girls Ages 4-12 years old 4 HALF DAYS 9AM-12:30 PM This program offers children a chance to participate in many different sports such as basketball, soccer, floor hockey, volleyball, and other physical education type activities. Scratch Programming - 10AM - The Digital Arts Experience
Scratch is a tile-based visual programming language developed by MIT that helps teach the logic and problem solving that drive computer programming. Scratch uses command blocks instead of code, and can be used to create interactive stories animations, video games and much more. This class is designed to give younger students an introduction to programming through fun, exciting, and interactive projects. Positional Camp II - Hearnes Center
Features concentrated instruction for the athlete (grade 6-12) who wishes to focus on a designed poition (setter, outside hitter, middle blocker, or libero/defensive specialist). Campers will spend the majority of their time drilling on those skills unique to their chosen position. Team play is also provided to incorporate individual skill development into team offensive and defensive systems. Camp is open to all female participants only limited by age. 573-882-0726

Extreme Robotics - Middle School
In Extreme Robotics, students have extreme fun while exploring the world of technology. Using all sorts of household items, including electrical motors and gadgets, they get to build their own robots. Using applied science and engineering, students learn to solve problems while exploring various scientific principles, from biomechanics to hydraulics to magnetism and chemistry. Finally, the student made robots are put to the ultimate test in fun competitions, with prizes being awarded for the most innovative and best functioning inventions, robots, and designs. Have your child join us for a super duper fun week, and youll be amazed by what your budding little scientist has learned along the way, just by using a little imagination and some basic scientific knowledge.
