In this hands-on class, campers will use the LEGO system to create simple machines. They will learn about levers, pulleys, axels, wheels, and gears through activates designed to challenge the young engineer. We have a few more spots open for 534 Summer Camp! The cost is $100. You do not want to miss out! A fun-filled week of team building activites, water slides, and fundamental CrossFit skills will be learned throughout the week! Ages 5+ are invited to attend! T-shirt and snacks provided!
Teen Advisory Council: Night Hike and Campfire - Philadelphia, PA
Teens can join us for a night of fun in the park. We will have a planning meeting for the fall, followed by a night hike, and the campfire at 7:30pm. Email [email protected] for more information.
Summer Camp at TROT - Cottondale, AL
TROT will be hosting three summer camps in 2015. Camp will be from 9-2 Monday through Friday, with a horse show on Saturday so participants can show off what they learned. Cost is $200 per week, lunch, drinks and snacks are provided. Some scholarship assistance is available upon demonstration of financial need. Group discount rates also available. Dates are June 8-12, June 22-27 and July 13-17. Email or message Marguerite Malone for more details.
Nov 2016: DR:IN CYC Work Weekend - Columbus, IN
This is an event for us to do some work at the new camp and get to know the site. Some food will be provided and all that can show up and help will earn tasty AP! This is not a DR Event of a game running. Howerver all the DR community standards will be upheld. :)
Let's get our Oakland youth to Camp Common Ground Oakland! - Oakland,
Thank you so much for supporting Camp Common Ground's effort to get our youth leaders in Oakland to camp! Your attendance and participation at the launch of our second fundraiser will be imperative to ensuring that our youth from diverse racial and economic backgrounds can stand together this summer to break down barriers that exist between their communities. Come hungry and ready to drink, and don't forget your laptops, smartphones, tablets, etc. that we will use to get the word out about the fundraiser to all of our networks! What's the impact we will make in one day? The fundraiser will last for the entire month of March. During last month's fundraiser, Camp Common Ground supporters exceeded the fundraising goal of $4800. The $5400 raised will bring 4 Oakland youth to camp. During this fundraiser, we will raise $13,200, which will bring 16 more Oakland youth to camp--6 more on full scholarships and 10 on partial scholarships. Looking forward to seeing you there!
