In 2015, our summer basketball camp program received great appreciation for our in-depth and intense basketball skill development regiment. The boys & girls who attended enjoyed a 1:9 trainer/camper ratios. Current NBA player Alonzo Gee provided teaching and instruction to youth, and our athletes reported a 40% increase in endurance, shooting efficiency, ball-handling, and confidence. Since 2008, our program has worked with over 3,000 youth and been featured in the Palm Beach Post, NPR, Sun-Sentinel, NBC 6, and ESPN760. 2016 Camp Location: Grandview Prep School - 336 Spanish River Blvd, Boca Raton, FL 33431 Camp Hours: 9:00am - 3:30pm Camper Drop Off Monday, June 6th, 2016- 8:15 am - 9:00am | After Monday - 8:30am - 9:00am Important Check - In Procedure - All campers must be signed in and out daily by an adult with an TA site administrator. Camp Jersey – All registered full week participants will receive a camp jersey on the first day. Jerseys can be worn daily, (not mandatory), but must be worn on Fun Friday. My daughter loves experiencing nature at the camp!
This camp gives students the chance to develop socially and musically. My 10 year old daughter loves the fact she can be out in nature, feels safe and can learn about music with like-minded children. Are you ready to learn what it takes to be an Outdoor Adventurer?! Spend the week learning how to pack a backpack like a pro, work as a team to navigate using map and compass, cook over an open fire you built yourself, and basic shelter construction using a tarp and Para cord. Youll spend time learning how to meal plan and what equipment is needed for a trip, as well as how to read the weather. The Outward Bound staff will help you escape to nature and survive with ease. This camp includes two field trips to put all of your new skills to the test! An additional waiver is required with registration. All registrants agree to the policies and procedures of Youth Programs, including change fees, cancellation fees, deadlines, and other details found in the program materials and parent handbook.
