During this session the kids are given safety instruction for every day use of basic hand tools such as screw drivers. Your kids work in groups to take apart every day household items that the kids are familiar with. This includes non-operational power tools, computers, home printers, alarm clocks, DVD players, ect. This session is designed for the kids to understand the concept that every day items are built and there are components, big or small inside of them. UCLA UniCamp is a tradition at UCLA that is entering its 81st summer of camp. The session I will be attending this year (Session 2) is during June 25- July 1. Every year there are hundreds of under-served children that may not be dreaming of a bright future. Help us provide these kids with the tools to change their stars and give them the chance to dream big and succeed! All proceeds from this event go towards sending under-served youth to camp this summer. JumpStart Kids & Teens Camp - Medina, OH
CrossFit HighGear offers two JumpStart camps to choose from! KIDS CAMP runs from June 6 - 10 while TEEN CAMP runs from June 13 - 17 both from 10 am - noon. Registration includes a t-shirt and daily snack! Campers will participate in a strength and conditioning program that combines gymnastics, body-weight calisthenics and weightlifting elements. Participants learn to move their bodies and move them well, making them fitter and more resilient day to day. We focus on quality of movement before we push intensity. Regardless of age, ability or experience, campers benefit physically as their bodies adapt and become stronger, faster and more flexible. Campaign for Kids Holiday Silent Auction - undefined, VT
This is going to be a fun event! We are partnering with Community Hope and Action and West River Valley Thrives to bring you an evening of fun and community support. CHAC has been bringing you the Third Saturday free monthly dinners and concerts for the past year and on December 19 they have welcomed CFK to be there as well with a silent auction to raise money for our wonderful afterschool programs. HS Robotics Advanced Projects Week 6 - Merrill Engineering Building
A week-long camp for entering 10th, 11th, and 12th graders; or 9th graders who have taken a middle school camp. This is a follow-on course for those who have taken the HS Robotics with Arduino or who have prior Arduino experience. The camp will be more project-based and focus on development of independent skills. This camp runs from 9AM-3PM, M-F.
