S UMMER DAY CAMP! This summer we have a few new themes as well as several of the old favorites. Ages: 5-12 (Campers must be age 5 by the beginning of the week of camp they are registering) Location : AMLD Community Center at 11500 El Salido Pkwy, Austin, TX 78750 (All activities are on-site, AMLD CC, El Salido Park & Pool) Days & Times: Monday- Friday 7:30am-6:00pm (Earliest drop off is 7:30am, Latest pick up is 6:00pm) Registration Fees: AMLD Resident: $175 Non-Resident: $190 Full payment is due at time of registration unless a payment plan has been set up. I went to CJDA every summer growing up, and now my girls attend every summer. I love it because they’re learning how to interact with other girls. 2016 Teen Safe Driving Camp - Forsyth, GA
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office, in cooperation with the Georgia Public Safety Training Center, will be holding the 9th annual Safe Driving Camp for ages 15-17. The one day camp will teach new drivers about the consequences of distracted driving, the dangers of driving impaired, tips for defensive driving, skid recovery techniques, safety at railroad crossings, and demonstrate important vehicle maintenance practices. The camp will take place at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center from 9:00am until 4:30pm on Saturday, July 23, 2016. Anyone wishing to attend must complete the application and return it to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office either in person or by mail. Deadline for applications is Friday, July 01, 2016. Applications may be picked up at the Monroe County Sheriff's Office during normal business hours. Space is limited.

Our instructor will start off with 25 minutes in our spin room, where we turn the lights down and the music up. After a short break, we you’ll rotate through challenges in our bootcamp room that will have you working up a sweat. This class is designed to be challenging and fun. Designed for 13 – 17 year olds of all levels. There are only 16 spots available and they will fill up, please pay and reserve your spot online. Dropping in is not recommended. We have schedule a second computer coding camp for July 18 @ 1:00 for grades 6-12. Part 2 is a two-hour camp that introduces teens to robotics engineering with a line patterning RedBot. Teens will add to coding skills learned in Part 1 to instruct RedBot to follow simple to complex line patterns. Instructor: Roger Finch This course is for students who want to weld steel that is 1/8 inch thick and up. At their own workstation, the students will learn M.I.G. Welding, Torch Brazing and Plasma cutting. These skills can be used to create anything from Garden Art to building a utility trailer. Each class will include theory, demonstration, and individual hands-on instruction. All basic supplies, including the Welders Manual by Roger Finch and the Victor Welding Guide are included in the materials fee and supplied on Class #1.
