We had planned our own mini-vacation to coincide with our son's summer camp stay but we were going to my parents. I would much rather stay at one of those gorgeous lakefront rooms. Spaghetti Dinner To Raise Funds For Youth Camp! - Sanford, NC
C.T. Townsend's Youth Camp has been the talk of our church & I can see a lot of the kids getting excited about attending! We currently have 38 kids signed up and ready to go so of course they are going to be helping out with this :) and the cost is $250 per child this would help out tremendously for the parents.. There is no set cost on the plates but just to donate what the heart leads you to❤

Scratch Programming - 10AM - The Digital Arts Experience
Scratch is a tile-based visual programming language developed by MIT that helps teach the logic and problem solving that drive computer programming. Scratch uses command blocks instead of code, and can be used to create interactive stories animations, video games and much more. This class is designed to give younger students an introduction to programming through fun, exciting, and interactive projects. Carved & Hand-Built Vases in Clay - Location: Center for The Creative Arts
In this class students will slabs to construct a one-of-a-kind vase form. Decorative designs will be carved into the shape to give these vessels an ornate appearance. Finished pieces need to be fired and glazed. All works will be picked up at a later date. 302 239-2434 x120

Ocean Explorers (Week 3 AM) - Lore & Lures - NESS
Have fun learning about fish and fishing while using maps, engineering, fisheries research, and innovative design while constructing a fishing rig. Use dip nets, a cast net, rod & reel, and fish traps to provide background for biological observations. Look to the past to explore the ocean lore of mermaids, sea monsters, and giant squid as well as glacial and fresh water influence. 04 Summer Fun Camp 4 Ages 5-12 - Middle School
Camp will meet from Noon-5:30pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; and at 7:00-5:30pm on Friday. Activities will include: arts and crafts, passive games,educational games, group activity games, sports, strength and conditioning, rhythms, and free play. There will be swimming from 4:00-5:00pm in the Middle School pool. Activities will be geared for children 5-12 years of age. Bring a snack, swim suit and towel. Campers should report to the HS cafeteria and enter door #29 on days that camp starts at Noon. Campers will be escorted to the MS Gym after lunch by camp counselors. When camp begins at 7:00 am campers should report to the Middle School Gym and enter through door #36. In order to register for this activity, you must first click to open the participation waiver and then place your initials in the left box to confirm that you read and agree. You must also read the Parent/ Athlete concussion agreement in the text and check the box underneath to provide confirmation that you have read, understand and agree to the new concussion information. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Parent/Guardian must initial for anyone under 18 years old.
