The 202 Comedy Festival is proud to present a DC comedy staple: The Summer Camp Show! The Summer camp Show is a monthly comedy show based on the experiences of summer camp. Join us for a hilarious evening of summer camp presentations, live music, guided meditations and comedy performances. As always, we'll have an arts and crafts table open, and help yourself to free adult bug juice. Started in 2014 by DC comedian Nate Johnson (Arlington Drafthouse, Winner of Funniest Fed Contest), The Summer Camp Show is a popular and recurring show at the Wonderland Ballroom. Teen Youth Camp - Jackson, KY
Teens. Youth Camp is just around the corner - July 27-31. If you are planning to attend this camp with Pastor Danny, contact him and he will help you get registered. The cost is $100/per student. If your family is unable to raise the money for camp, contact the church office. We do not want any student to miss out on this spiritual impacting week because of $100. Mount Carmel Youth Camp is in Kentucky. Brochures are on the table in the foyer.
Camp Constitution's Annual Family Summer Camp - Rindge, NH
Dear Friends, Campers, Staff, and All, Camp season is coming! We’ve secured Toah Nipi in the beautiful woods of Rindge, New Hampshire, for Sunday, July 10 – Sunday, July 17, 2016. Back for her third year, Mrs. Kris Anne Hall, a vigorous young mother will again be teaching about heroic men and women from our countryʼs founding, and the documents of freedom leading up to it. There will be a whole line-up of speakers and teachers, with more to be announced. Other returning instructors or mentors include with Mr. Peik,Mr. Shurtleff, Mr. Hoderny, Mr. “V,” and me. Mr. Peik will again lead Campfires, the Round Robin for Student Input and Q & A, and weʼll even find time for a final exam to help you see your progress! Family Camp is growing! We will again conduct the Junior Patriot Camp Program, making for a truly great family vacation! We welcome families with younger children, or no children, plus grandparents, and others (See worksheet for family accommodations.) We always have a wonderful group of young people and it is so good to see them interacting well with the little ones, with each other, with the grown ups, and even with us ancient ones! Developed over 30 years, this is the number one soccer camp for parents looking to introduce their children to the fundamentals of the worlds most popular sport. Using our progressional curriculum, your young athlete will gain technical skills and sport knowledge required for that next step into soccer. Designed for beginner and intermediate players, this camp focuses on dribbling, passing, shooting and ball control. Participants should bring water bottle, two snacks, running shoes, sunscreen and wear appropriate clothing. All campers will receive a T-shirt and soccer ball. Well learn about blood typing, collect fibers to analyze with laser pens and turn off the lights to uncover clues hidden in secret messages. Make chalk and use it to trace clues - then put it in your special take-home Tiny Scientist Sleuth kit to use while solving a real crime! Ages 5 - 10. 500 $/week. Session II Girls Basketball - Cornerstone University
Grades 7-11 (Overnight/Commuter Camp) Commuter campers follow the same daily schedule as the overnight campers. They are free to leave after league play (9:00PM) Check-in will be Monday morning from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM in the Bernice Hansen Athletic Center. Please look for postings to help make this time easier and more convenient for all. Parents, we will register your child as quickly as possible so that you are able to get to work on time. Each day we will have fundamental and team practice in the morning. Free time will be from 2:30 to 4:45. Campers may go back to their dorm to relax, play pool, ping-pong or stay in the gym and watch the camp counselors play basketball. Dinner is from 4:45 to 5:30 with league play from 6:00 to 9:00. If you are a commuting camper attending an overnight camp week, the cost of your dinner meal is not included in the camp tuition you paid. Therefore, you may purchase a dinner meal plan for the week at the time of registration.
