In The Handwork Studios Fiber Arts Camp, campers spend their time sharing stories and laughs while stitching snuggly creatures, and crafting handy dandy accessories. Our goal is to teach the fun practical skills of knitting, hand and machine sewing, needle felting and much more in a space where campers will be enveloped in learning, creativity, imagination, and giggles! Youth Camp - Leakey, TX
We will be going to Alto Frio camp this summer in Leakey, Texas. Cost is $225 per person. Completed 7th - 12th. Initial non-refundable deposit of $25 is due by March 1, 2015 to ensure your spot. We will be holding our first fundraiser to help offset camp fees on 13th February -- Valentine's Day Banquet...so if you are planning on going to camp, please do your best to work the Banquet. The fundraiser can be used to offset costs for either Alto Frio or Camp Blessing.
Teen Boot Camp - Rockford, IL
Do you have or know a hard to reach teen? Want your teen to learn discipline, teamwork, and respect? If so, bring him/her to my Teen Bootcamp! I'm an Army vet who knows the importance of these things. Let me teach your teen drill and ceremony, how to change a tire, how to communicate without using technology, and countless other important life skills. I will provide 45 minutes of life skills and 45 minutes of fitness during each session. Teen and parent must agree to participate in all eight sessions. Sessions will be held twice a week. Parents this is for you........Need to vent your concerns, need professional advice or guidance, need to know that you're not alone? Tirah Brown, MSW, LSW will be providing free counseling sessions while your teen is with me. Also included is free dinner and drink, every session! All this for only $30 a session! *20 TEENS MAXIMUM*

PRINCESS TROPICAL DANCE CAMP at Alabama Christian Dance Theatre Celebrate Summer with the Princesses at a Tropical Beach party hosted by Alabama Christian Dance Theatre. Bring your favorite beach towel and be prepared to have a dance water day during our week long camp! Camp will be filled with crafts, games, dance ballet and jazz. Want to work outside this summer? Are you an outdoor program looking for potential employees? Come to the University of New Hampshire's annual Outdoor Jobs and Camp Fair Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the Granite State Room of the Memorial Union Building at UNH. More than 40 employers representing non-profit outdoor and environmental agencies, commercial outfitters, summer camps and international travel companies will attend this year's fair to recruit summer and full-time employees. Some representatives conduct on-the-spot interviews. The fair, which is free for job seekers and open to the public, attracts more than 400 students and others from diverse academic fields, including outdoor education, nursing, natural resources, recreation management, theatre arts, business, and equine sciences. Attendees can win raffle prizes donated by local businesses. This is a great opportunity for networking and obtaining employment or employees early on in the hiring season.
