Kid's Holiday Sewing and Crafting Camps - New Orleans, LA

Lacrosse Performance Elite Camp - Hampden-Sydney College
Check in is Sunday between 3-4pm The Performance Elite Camp is a Specialty Instruction Camp for Student-Athletes serious about preparing to play collegiate lacrosse with a focus on developing Shooting skills, Goalie Individual Instruction and Small Group Defensive Instruction. There will also be daily game competition! Summer Strength and Speed Training Girls - 9th-12th grades - Wichita Collegiate School
Instructor: Black All classes will be taught in the state of the art Lattner Center located on the west side of the Upper School. Some sessions will take place on the turf or track at Spartan Stadium located just to the east of the Beren Middle School. The summer staff of Troy Black, Mike Gehrer, Destiny Clark, Cam Clark, and other staff as needed have many years of proven experience and knowledge. The curriculum and techniques like the training center are state of the art and are presented in a positive uplifting environment. Each session has a curriculum molded to the skill sets and abilities of the students. Strength and Speed - For the 6th year, we will be offering a class that is designed for the female athlete. Female athletes need to work on their strength and speed just like the males. The focus of the program will be on developing overall body strength, learning proper lifting technique, improved jumping ability, agility, speed improvement, and core strength. A variety of exercises and drills will be used over the 8-week program. The participants age, experience, and limitations will be used when designing the participants workouts. Dust off your cape, grab your wand, and put on your creative cap for a fun, action-packed camp where you are the author, storyteller, characters, and everything in between. Expand your mind and have fun inside a fantasy land of your imagination. Create an original script by inventing the heroes, villains, wizards and witches, monsters and beasts, mystical creatures, magical objects, mysterious woods, unexpected adventures – and whatever else grows from your imagination. The perfect camp for anyone who loves Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Katniss Everdeen, Marvel and DC Comics, Grimm and Hans Christian Andersen Fairy Tales, and Star Wars.
