Students will learn how to play basic drum, guitar, bass and piano riffs to various lyric-appropriate (parent-approved) rock/pop songs of their choice. Classes will include ear training, learning to read music notation, instrumental techniques, viewing music video clips for inspiration, and more! No experience necessary, but welcomed! Instruments will be provided to share, but bring any that you have from home. Time will be allotted each day for a snack and water break. A short performance will take place on Friday at the end of class from 11:40-Noon where students will have the opportunity to sing and/or play different instruments for the songs we have been developing throughout the week. 20% sibling discount. Join until Wednesday. SPECIALTY CAMP CANCELLATION POLICY Participants wishing to drop an enrichment class/specialty camp must contact Community Services at (760) 744-9000 x3501. The Herders are 7 and 8 year olds who are ready to work in the farm fields harvesting produce, cutting flowers, and exploring life on the farm along with our traditional camp activities in the garden, tending the animals, crafting, and cooking. 413-657-0000

Building on the universal popularity of LEGO ® bricks, each hour-long class is a fun, enriching experience as kids build a new project each week. Using unique models that are different from the kits found in any store, each unit is based on engaging themes such as space, inventions, famous buildings and more. We kick things off with a discussion about key concepts related to the model, then get right into the building. Working with a partner, your child will experience the hands-on fun of seeing a model come together piece by piece, from concept to completion.
