Are you ready to learn what it takes to be an Outdoor Adventurer?! Spend the week learning how to pack a backpack like a pro, work as a team to navigate using map and compass, cook over an open fire you built yourself, and basic shelter construction using a tarp and Para cord. Youll spend time learning how to meal plan and what equipment is needed for a trip, as well as how to read the weather. The Outward Bound staff will help you escape to nature and survive with ease. This camp includes two field trips to put all of your new skills to the test! An additional waiver is required with registration. All registrants agree to the policies and procedures of Youth Programs, including change fees, cancellation fees, deadlines, and other details found in the program materials and parent handbook. Youth Camp - Leakey, TX
We will be going to Alto Frio camp this summer in Leakey, Texas. Cost is $225 per person. Completed 7th - 12th. Initial non-refundable deposit of $25 is due by March 1, 2015 to ensure your spot. We will be holding our first fundraiser to help offset camp fees on 13th February -- Valentine's Day Banquet...so if you are planning on going to camp, please do your best to work the Banquet. The fundraiser can be used to offset costs for either Alto Frio or Camp Blessing.

Teen III 2015 - Camp Appanoose
This ten day camp begins on grounds and travels to the majestic high country of the Rocky Mountains for a conditioning phase before a five day backpacking expedition. Campers will each carry all of their and the group needs in backpacks as they transverse mountains and valleys. This camp is not for super athletes, but for the young person who is willing to resist fatigue and accept challenges which will take them to the next level and create great memories.
