Does your childs room need a makeover? This camp allows children to create beautiful pieces that add glam to their room! Each piece becomes a one-of-a-kind creation as campers get to combine many different artistic mediums. They learn canvas painting by completing a monogrammed painted canvas ready to hang. They learn the art of mosaics by creating their own message board. They learn pottery painting and glazing techniques by creating their very own tissue box cover. I was eager to enroll at Camp Newaygo for one important reason: we could all share the summer fun as a family. Sure it's important for the kids to have their own time but when we can make memories (and plenty of crafts!) together as a family then it makes our vacation all the better. Mix It Up! - S1 - Plymouth Community Arts Council
If you loved Slimy Art & Science you will love Mix It Up! A definite hands on experience where students will be mixing up (and inventing!) their own materials for the weeks projects. Textured paints, powdered clay bases, handmade papers, mixed media collage canvases, liquid chalk and frozen water colors. Please dress for the mess! 734-416-4278
Empire Montessori Preschool (Fremont location)- Field Hockey - Empire Montessori Fremont
In this session of Field Hockey, the kids will learn the basics of the game. This includes how to hit the ball with the stick, how to pass the ball, and how to play defense. This is a session that helps campers transition into being a CIT. In preparation for becoming role models for the younger generations of campers, participants in the CIT camp will undergo a training schedule that mimics the staff training period prior to summer camp. Skyhawks Volleyball takes the energy and excitement of this great team sport and puts it together into one fun-filled camp. All aspects of the game are taught through drills and exercises that focus on passing, setting, hitting and serving. This co-ed program is designed for the beginning and intermediate player. Our volleyball staff will assist each athlete in developing fundamental skills through game-speed drills, daily scrimmages aimed at developing the whole player. Please wear appropriate clothing and bring two snacks, knee pads, and water bottle. All participants receive a t-shirt,volleyball and player evaluation. Swim, Tennis and Flag Football Camp - Community Services Department - City of Palo Alto
Please sign up early for our popular tennis, flag football & swim camps held at Palo Altos Rinconada Park and Pool. Participants start each day with a tennis lesson 10-11:30am from the staff of Tennis program. Following tennis, the participates will eat with swim staff to eat from 11;30 am until 12:30 pm in the Rinconada Park. Following lunch the participates will head out to the field to engage in flag football from 12:30-2:30 pm with the Skyhawks coaching staff. After Skyhawks flag football, the participants will head over to the Rinconada Pool where they will enjoy swimming lessons, water games and be supervised by our lifeguards. Cost includes tennis lessons, soccer lessons, entrance to recreation swim, and supervision. Participants should bring a bag lunch, tennis racket, bathing suit, sunscreen, comfortable shoes and a towel each day. Ages 8-12. Pre and Post Care will be available before and after this camp.
