This 3-day class will focus on the design process using AutoCAD Inventor 2016 to take a conceptual idea to the prototyping stage. The emphasis will be on the effective design of a competitive robot for the VEX 2016-2017 competition season. Students will learn how to model subsystems in 3-D and then verify parts of their design by constructing the design using the VEX EDR systems. Youll also be trained to help with the maurices portable climbing wall at community events. A mandatory training/orientation session is required on Friday, June 10 from 12 - 4 pm. A commitment of at least one full week of camp is required for participation, and transportation is available from Marshall School (drop off at 8:15 am and pick up at 4:45 each day).
