Tennis Camp: Coach Coffin - The Calverton School
The camp will be taught by Danny Coffin, Head Coach at Calverton, with over 15 years experience and running successful tennis camps. Hosted on Calvertons own six-court tennis complex, this camp will be a wonderful experience for the beginner, as well as the experienced tennis player. Film Makers Challenge Workshop - S1 - Plymouth Community Arts Council
For students with previous film making experience. Take your film making to the next level with a series of fun challenges that will stretch your imagination. On site props and indoor/outdoor settings offer students a chance to show their stuff and work together in pairs, in teams, and as individuals to come up with creative solutions to the days challenge. PCAC Film Crew Instructor Jenn Teed and production assistants will start off each day with a technique demo and then guide film makers as they come up with unique digital films. Waterfalls & Wading - July 24 - Camp Pisgah
Come explore the treasured rivers and waterfalls of western North Carolina! In this session, practice boating on our lake, slide down a natural rock cascade, spend the afternoon tubing along a lazy river, hike through DuPont State Park and explore the waterfalls where the Hunger Games movie was filmed. You and your group will still have plenty of time for campfires and smores as well. Due to the nature of this program, girls must be able to swim 25 yards and tread water non-stop for two minutes in order to participate. 336-274-8491

Summer Slide - Middle School
Are you concerned that your child may develop a case of summer slide or think year round school is an intelligent idea? This two-week program will allow your child to prepare for success in the following school year. The course is taught by Sandra Schwartz, who holds a Bachelors in Education with a minor in Mathematics and an M.Ed., and has been working in the North Merrick UFSD since 2008. Sandra currently teaches Computer and Technology at Camp Avenue School. Students are invited to take part in a comprehensive class designed to sharpen their skills by offering an ideal balance of instruction in math and creative writing to assist students in mastering these subjects.
