Around the World! Kid's Camp - Midland, MI
We are going around the world with this multi faceted day camp for kids! We will explore the art, language and culture of several different countries, including Brazil, Morocco and Japan. A variety of activities will fill our time together - art, sports, music and more! Campers will create and fill in their "passports" as we visit a new country each day. Kids from 8-13 are invited to join us for this 4 day camp, running Monday, August 15 - Thursday, August 18 from 9 am to 12:30 pm each day. Cost of camp is $120. Scientists in this class will get to know first-hand that summer is the best time of year to study matter. We will learn about how clouds forms and use air resistance to slow down an egg dropped from 13 feet. Tiny Cartesian divers show us how air behaves under pressure, well figure out how to get an egg into a bottle without breaking it and study heat transfer while we turn liquids into tasty treats! Prepared to be challenged by the likes of Shakespeare, Mamet and other influential playwrights in our Advanced Drama Class. This class will delve into the techniques used by famous teachers such as Stanislavsky, Chekov and Boal, to truly hone their skills in bringing characters to life on the stage.
