Come join Miss K. in exploring some math tricks with a magical flare! We will be investigating specific magic tricks and the math behind them. We will also realize why some math problems always lead to the same answers, how math plays a role in everyday situations, and why are numbers universal. K-2: The Science of Magic! - Main Room
K-2: The Science of Magic: COME ONE, COME ALL..to ten weeks of jaw-dropping experimentation during the Science of Magic! Scientists will learn how to fool family and friends as we investigate the chemistry, biology and physics behind super cool magic tricks. We will investigate solids and liquids and put out a match without touching it. Explore the wonders of inertia and learn the secret behind the magic table cloth trick. Well put a hole in our hand during an optical illusion class, and use static electricity to make things levitate. Natures Explorers - Week 9 - Nature Center at Shaker Lakes
This week we will explore some ways we can help protect our planet. Campers will work together to brainstorm and create an earth-friendly product. At the end of the week, they will present their product to the rest of the camp and parents, demonstrating how everyone can think of ways to make our planet a better place. 3D Modeling Camp - Middle School
Has your child ever wanted to learn how to make his or her own 3D model on a computer? This camp teaches the basics of how to computer generate 3D models that can then be used for animations, 3D printouts, games, and the new fields of Virtual Reality and Alternate Reality. Campers will be introduced to 3D modeling using games such as Minecraft, Spore, and others, and then will be able to progress into using simple 3D modeling programs. Campers will get their own 3D printout of a model theyve made and will be able to take home their very own 3D models on a USB drive (516) 750-3104

3/12 10:00am SEUSSICAL Audition - PYT Studios
Pre-register for a 10am audition time for Peninsula Youth Theatres CENTERSTAGE production of "SEUSSICAL." Registration guarantees you a spot in the 10am audition group. You must be age 8-18 or have prior executive director approval. Children must be 8 by 3/17/16 to participate. PLEASE NOTE: TO KEEP YOUR SPOT you must arrive by 9:30am with your paperwork completed for check in and measurements. If you have not arrived by 9:45am your spot will be given to someone on the waiting list and you will be moved to the next available audition slot. We cannot guarantee that that will be the next audition group.
