This Christian camp has helped to instill a love of Christ for my 12 year old daughter. Along with the Christian focus, she also enjoyed traditional camping activities. It's that time of year again. PAC Modern is hosting our 8th annual Summer PAC Camp! PAC Camp is a 6 week program where dancers of all ages can learn in a welcoming and fun environment. PAC Modern aims to bring dance instruction to their community at an affordable price. Come out and train with us all summer long! Dates: Every Monday and Wednesday, July 6th-August 12th Time: 6 pm - 8:30 pm Location: The East and West Gyms at Cal State Long Beach Parking: Parking is available along Atherton Street as well as the neighborhoods across the street. Please pay attention to all parking signs! You may also purchase a parking permit for $5 to park in the CSULB lot. Whether it's one day or a whole week, Camp Pump It Up is where it's at. Discover, explore, invent, and imagine! These themed camps are high-energy, fast-paced and just plain fun for kids. Kid's will spend part of the day playing on our gigantic inflatables and party of the day making new friends during interactive play, crafts, and hands-on activities. Camps are usually held on FCPS days off. Check our events calendar for camp dates. Pull that car cover off, put the battery back in and drive your summer ride out for one day of winter fun! They make car washes, even in winter...so put on your big boy/girl pants and drive out...snow or shine! All show vehicles welcome. FREE Chili. Awards at 4pm. Free admission. Trophies awarded for car, truck, motorcycle AND bicycle participation. $5 entry fee per car/truck, $3 per motorcycle and $1 per bicycle if you would like to participate in the drawings and awards. 100% of all entry collection will go to the Make a Wish Foundation. You can display for FREE, but you will not be in for awards or raffle prize drawings without a donation to our Charity. Freddy has a great bar, with an really nice deck out back. Sit by the fire, hang out under the tent outside or just hang out inside the nice warm Locker Room! Food available on site.

As students are introduced to a new subject matter each week, they learn a variety of art concepts including, Portraiture, Perspective, Still life, Art history, Color theory, Fundamental composition skills, Line and pat-terning and Art vocabulary. Camp will meet from Noon-5:30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday; and from 10:00-5:30pm on Thursday; and from 7:00-5:30pm on Friday. Activities will include: arts and crafts, passive games, educational games, group activity games, sports, strength and conditioning, rhythms, and free play. There will be swimming from 4:00-5:00pm in the Middle School pool. Activities will be geared for children 5-12 years of age. Bring a snack, swim suit and towel. Campers should report to the HS cafeteria and enter door #29 on days that camp starts at Noon. Campers will be escorted to the MS Gym after lunch by camp counselors. When camp begins at 7:00 am campers should report to the Middle School Gym and enter through door #36 In order to register for this activity, you must first click to open the participation waiver and then place your initials in the left box to confirm that you read and agree. Minecraft is a block-building sandbox game with no set rules, where you can build anything you can possible imagine. Lets pretend youre alone in a mysterious new world, full of hidden dangers. You have only minutes to find food and shelter before darkness falls and the monsters come looking for you. What do you do? What we teach you might just save your life! Learn how to find resources; make a shelter; craft tools, armor, and weapons, and protect yourself from monsters. Campers also create their own adventure map as design, production, and test playing guide them. Campers learn how to work as a team as they take on the real-world jobs of programmer, game designer, artist, and architect. There are two modes of the game. The scenario above describes the survival mode. There is also a creative mode where there are no monsters and you will be able to fly around and have unlimited resources to build amazing creations and buildings.
