We have as resources our Montessori-trained staff and classrooms, our 9 acre grounds with extensive gardens, the 600+ acre Powell Butte (10 minutes by foot), and our Columbia Gorge base camp at Bridal Veil. Youth strength and conditioning camp - Houston, TX
Calling all youth athletes and aspiring athletes!!! Parents, Bring your kids out to this clinic to improve their knowledge and skills in core strength, conditioning, footwork and combat fighting drills. This is a free event that is proposed for kids from second to eighth grade. The instructors of this event are Police Officers who enjoy working with youth on becoming better people and athletes while giving tips to improve their proficiency in any sport. If you are interested in signing your child up for this event please contact one us in a direct message. Again, we want to advise that this event is designed to give workout tips to all athletes!!!! Please be aware that this is a volunteered event and injury may occur. If injury occurs, we encourage parents to contact medical personnel. We are excited about our 2015 Summer Teen Camp. We will be headed to camp CoBeAc in Michigan to join in "the Next Great Detective" the week of July 20th-25th. Anti Bully Kid Power Self Defense Camp! - Santa Barbara, CA
Two-Day Summer Camp for Children 5 to 13 years old on June 16th and 18th 9:30am to 11:30am. Space is limited to 15, enroll your child by May 29th to secure their space. This class gives students a real opportunity, as artists to explore the topic of identity and Family. The results have been creative and exciting. Students explore topics like family, friends, personal exploration, ethnic and racial origins and many others. They have the chance to visualize old and new themes that inform the viewer and surprised the artists. This is a very special class that promotes communications about self-realization through the visual arts, in a safe and supportive environment. Summer Inspired on the Farm - Deep Roots Community Farm
Join us for this three day farm adventure! We will plant, tend and eat fresh fruits and vegetables from the gardens, build with natural materials, and explore the farms streams, forests and native prairie. We will tend to the farm animals and learn about respectful methods of animal care. And of course, well make some awesome art projects together, including hand stitched journals, water color paintings, woodworking, origami, upcycled CD art and so much more. During this session our biology lessons will explore monarch butterflies and their habitats. All programming is led by Ana Skemp, M.S.
