My teenage daughter has a lot of fun at this camp. She enjoys spending time talking to the camp counselors, canoeing, hiking, swimming, archery and climbing the rock wall. Your camp will be held Monday, August 15, 4-6 p.m.; Tuesday, August 16, 6-7 p.m.; Wednesday, August 17, 4-6 p.m.; Thursday, August 18, 4-6 p.m.; and Friday, August 19, 4-6 p.m. at the Landers. (And, don't forget the parent and trouper meeting Thursday, August 4, 5:15-6:15 p.m.) Dress comfortably in clothing that won't restrict your movement in any way. Our dedicated Instructors have designed Kids Mini-Camps for all the days that the kids are off from school between now and the New Year. Students will experiment with different mediums to create a new masterpiece each day! Students are welcome to bring a peanut-free snack and drink. If your child is staying for the full day, please pack a lunch and drink for them. Art instruction begins at the designated start time. We reserve the right to cancel a class if less than 4 children are registered. No refunds or credits if parent/guardian cancels within 10 days of the start date or for missed classes.

Summer Cool Theatre Camp This camp will incorporate a variety of activities including acting, mime, theatre games, stage combat, movement, voice and a final performance! Theatre Camp allows a child to express themselves in many ways and helps with their self-esteem, socialization and teamwork skills. En Garde! Experience the thrill of sword fighting through the Olympic sport of fencing in a fun, fast-paced, and exciting environment. New and returning campers will discover the art of swordplay, develop fencing skills, learn about the rules and history of the sport, and hear about fencing in the 2016 Summer Olympic Games. Fencers will engage in a wide array of games and skill-building activities designed to teach the sword-fighting technique. All equipment is provided and safety is emphasized. Swim, Tennis and Soccer Camp - Community Services Department - City of Palo Alto
Please sign up early for our popular tennis, soccer & swim camps held at Palo Altos Rinconada Park and Pool. Participants start each day with a tennis lesson 10-11:30am from the staff of Tennis program. Following tennis, the participates will eat with swim staff to eat from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm in the Rinconada Park. Following lunch the participates will head out to the field to engage in soccer from 12:30-2:30 pm with the Skyhawks coaching staff. After Skyhawks Soccer, the participants will head over to the Rinconada Pool where they will enjoy swimming lessons, water games and be supervised by our lifeguards. Cost includes tennis lessons, soccer lessons, entrance to recreation swim, and supervision. Participants should bring a bag lunch, tennis racket, bathing suit, sunscreen, comfortable shoes and a towel each day. Ages 8-12. Pre and Post Care will be available before and after this camp.
