Both of my daughters attended this camp two years in a row; then my oldest daughter went on to be a camp counselor for a summer before she went on to basic training. They are now 28 and 30 years old and they STILL talk about their camp experience!!
I have a soon to be teen son, who attended the camp one year and I always wait too late to get him in again!

The Summit - Youth Ministry Retreat - Westcliffe, CO
A retreat for anyone working professionally in ministry with youth, young adults, children, and families. Designed as a time of personal renewal, professional development, continuing education, and networking with other Youth Directors, Pastors, and Christian Educators . Time is spent in a peaceful mountain setting surrounded by God’s creation and wonderful people. Days are filled with time to relax, play, worship and be engaged in conversation and learning. This retreat will begin with lunch on Monday and ends with brunch on Wednesday. Early arrival options are also available.
CBMM’s Kids Club summer camps for 6-7 Year Olds - Saint Michaels, MD
Beginning June 20 and continuing through July 29, the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is offering its week-long, half day Kids Camps, which bring age-appropriate Chesapeake-themed camps for children 4-7 years of age. Led by a CBMM educator, young Kids Club campers explore the magic of the Chesapeake Bay’s people, animals, and watercraft through fun and interactive activities, stories, games, and crafts. CBMM’s summer camps for children 4-5 years of age are offered during the weeks of June 20, July 4, and July 18; camps for children 6-7 years of age are offered the weeks of June 27, July 11, and July 25. Daily camps take place from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with campers meeting at CBMM’s Dorchester House and exploring the museum’s 18-acre campus and numerous exhibition buildings as part of the program. Participation is limited, with camps filling fast and pre-registration required. The cost for the week-long camp is $125 for CBMM members, or $150 for non-members, with scholarships available. All Paths Welcome. If you are a teen, please join us at Briercrest Park in La Mesa from 1pm to 5pm on Saturday, October 10th for a jam-packed metaphysical teen workshop! We'll be learning grounding & centering techniques, how to shield and how to work with Spirit Animals. The camp is FREE, but a signed parent permission slip is required to participate. Please bring your wonderful self and a pen and paper for notes. Handouts will also be provided. Stitch Camp-Embroidery, Machine and Hand Sewing - Horizons K-8 School
Have you ever wished you knew how to sew? Learn sewing machine basics and how to embroider decorative stitches in this fun half-day camp. We will emphasize process as well as product so that students become confident stitchers. Students will work in small project groups to create interesting and functional items that reflect their personality. Everyone will sew and embroider their own pillow, a fabric-covered notebook, a tote bag, earbud caddies, and more. Students will also take home an embroidery sewing kit and project patterns.
