*This class is for ALL students age 4-6 in both Preschool and Kindergarten. Kindergarteners have an opportunity to further develop their drawing skills before entering our hour-long KidzArt IMAGINE! class. Instruction is modified for each childs abilities. Limited to 8 students.* Learning about art and how to draw is like learning a new language with KidzArt DISCOVER! The ‘language of art begins with the recognition of lines and shapes. We show students how these lines and shapes can fit together to create a complete whole. Then we introduce them to the tools to do it for themselves. Much of DISCOVER! centers around teaching our young students to slow down, to focus, and to see how the world around them is put together. They learn how they can create recognizable forms from the ‘language of art they are learning. DISCOVER! offers our students praise, support and direction, while we ask for their attention and willingness to perform their personal best. This class focuses on process. This Girl Scout Camp is nestled in nature’s paradise between meadows, woodlands and a beach area. My 11 year old daughter loves to participate in archery, swimming, kayaking, crafts, boating and hiking. She has developed a love for nature along with improved social skills. This camp has an emphasis on fundamentals of the game presented in a fun and exciting environment. Instruction is geared towards younger children of all abilities. Campers will be grouped according to age/grade, height, and ability level. REFUND POLICY: Cancellations requested at least seven days prior to the start of camp will be issued a full refund less a $15 non-refundable deposit.
