Overall, it's a good camp but I would NOT recommend this camp to anyone with dietary restrictions.
Camp Ondessonk is located in a very beautiful area. There are a lot of fun activities planned and this camp is for the most part well run.
I would NOT recommend this camp to anyone with dietary restrictions or food allergies. My son has a life threatening peanut allergy. We had many emails / calls / discussions prior to my son attending and I was confident he was being well cared for. This was not the case. He was... Read More...

Survivors Supporting Survivors TEEN SUPPORT GROUP This group is designed to offer an opportunity for the teens to talk about the struggles of a cancer diagnosis without becoming a counseling group. We set the table in a variety of way to help the healing process happen much faster. We guide them in real life challenges and allow them to discuss and support each other in ways you don’t see in normal life. Come prepared for an outdoor farm experience: dress weather-appropriate! It's gonna be jammed packed with exercises on great communication, problem solving skills and fun team building moments that bond these teens together. When: Monday, October 24th, 2016 Time: 6:00PM- 8:00PM Where: Farmstead Corn Maze (The Farmstead 1020 S. Rackham Way Meridian, ID 83642) Who: Any young adult between the ages of 13-18yrs who has been diagnosed with cancer. Work Weekend - Holcombe, WI
Always work to do to get the camp ready for the campers. Two roofs will have steel installed on them, cleaning of the chapel and some of the cabins, yard work. We will also be switching the shop and the game room so lots of hands will be needed there. At least 9 holes of miniaturegolf will be moved to the area around the garage (soon to be game room). Food will be provided. Let us know if you will be staying overnight so some cabins will be cleaned and ready. For those staying over Saturday night there will be a chapel service on Sunday morning. Lots of hands make light work so join us for a weekend of working, fishing, fellowshipping and enjoying God’s great outdoors.

A week full of fun and games! We will make sun prints, have water relay races, play parachute and fishing games, pretend to go camping in the courtyard, make bird feeders, and have extra fun with water and bubbles! Ages: 3-5, campers must be potty trained. Children should bring a peanut/treenut-free snack and a water bottle from home each day. Teacher: Mrs. Senn 919-657-4800 x7296

Ages: 9-13 Golf Skill Level: Beginner/Intermediate Description: A 4-day, 4-hours per day camp. Emphasis is on improving your golf skills, understanding the rules and etiquette, course management and learning to play on the course. (916) 808-2531

Neighborhood Park Camp at Washington Park is a traditional, high-quality camp that is fun and affordable. Activities include arts and crafts, physical fitness games and challenges, dance, visits to the library, enrichment activities and swimming. Campers play basketball, soccer, volleyball and softball. Instruction is also offered in golf and tennis. Campers are escorted to Robinson Park Recreation Centers swimming pool for recreational swim two times per week. Staff go into the water with the campers and certified lifeguards are always present. Fun field trips are often the highlight of the week. Trips are an additional charge and are scheduled for once a week. This camp is a good fit for active campers who like sports and group activities. The ratio of staff to campers is 1 to 10. Campers are grouped by age, and lunch and a snack are provided. Camp culminates in the annual War Games in which Washington Park Camp and La Pintoresca Park Camps compete in a series of challenges to determine an annual camp champion. Campers are asked to wear sturdy, closed-toe athletic shoes, sunscreen and hats. On swimming days, campers are asked to bring sandals for the pool area and swimming suits. ...

Using STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) education as the foundation, students will create works of art that apply design skills in drawing, painting, and 3-D sculpture. Concepts such as symmetry, balance and form which are naturally aligned in both art and math will be fully explored in this camp. Projects include a fun engineering design challenge involving the construction of a small scale chair, a geometric tessellation drawing, and a wooden assemblage incorporating one point perspective. 2143522787.0
