What better way to finish off the winter break than by being outside with friends and siblings, learning a new skill, having fun, and gaining in self-confidence? All classes taught by Eric Clarke, natural horseman clinician with 35+ years experience as a professional trainer of horses and their people, assisted by several of his horsemanship apprentices. Half Day PM 1:30pm – 4:30pm The parents and campers have spoken! 2015 was packed full of some amazing experiments and helped to build phenomenal memories. Did your camper miss out on an incredible camp? Maybe you were on vacation and couldnt attend? Maybe your camper just had SO much fun theyre begging to have one last hurrah (hopefully this is the reason)! Well, weve taken the most popular experiments from all of our 2015 Camps and combined them into one final camp. We could only think of one name for this camp … Best of 2015 Science Camp! 9194605800.0
Girls Volleyball Day Camps Session #2 - Hollinger Fieldhouse
The Day Volleyball Camps offer instruction at the beginner and advanced levels. Beginners will focus on knowledge of the game, competitive fun, and fundamental ball control. Advanced campers will cover the proper technique for basic skills, offensive playsets, defensive formations, strategy, teamwork and attitude, and setting personal and team goals. Campers will be placed on teams, depending on skill level, with specialized coaching on each level. Each camper should bring comfortable volleyball or cross train-ing sneakers, extra shirt and socks, and a container of water. WCU and its camp staff are not responsible for lost or missing items. Spring Body Checking (Walpole) Ages 11-14 - Rodman Arena
May 2,9,16,23,30 -- June 6. Intro to body checking is a 6-week camp focused on: All Key Elements of Power Skating Intro to Body Checking Safe and Strong Body Positioning Puck Possession Its vital that young hockey players are fully prepared when entering the age levels where body checking and increased body contact are legal. Size and strength play a limited role if players are properly trained on body position, angles, correct posture, etc. Power skating will be the focus of the first 30 minutes -- then the players will be split by level. Pee Wee will focus on body position and puck protection. Bantam will focus on body checking and hitting. Your young hockey player will be ready for the next level after this camp. 617-710-8129
