Michigan Cru's Fall Getaway 2016 - Angola, IN
As we experience true love–a love that is there in the hard times as well as the good, a love that is there when we’re doing well or when we are failing, a love that will walk with us through healing as well as celebrate our victories–that is when we find true freedom. This kind of love is only found in a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. This will be a weekend of finding this kind of love as our speaker, Kevin Butcher, guides us through this topic. Join us for a weekend of fun community and spiritual growth as we head to Angola, Indiana for this year's Fall Getaway! Check is from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 14th. We'll have times of Biblical teaching and heartful worship, as well as plenty of time to just hang out and have fun together. And if you need to study, there is time for that too. We'll head back to campus after lunch on Sunday, October 16th. The cost is $60 for Freshmen and $80 for everyone else! Anti Bully Kid Power Self Defense Camp! - Santa Barbara, CA
Two-Day Summer Camp for Children 5 to 13 years old on June 16th and 18th 9:30am to 11:30am. Space is limited to 15, enroll your child by May 29th to secure their space. Price is $99 for this Mind and Body Anti Bully Self Defense empowerment program. We will empower the children with boundary setting tools, both mentally and physically, greater awareness of potential dangers and inappropriate behaviors, 'power words' to use to show confidence, usage of important resources to feel secure (sharing fears/discomfort with teachers, parents and trusted adults to receive assistance). Loving Care "Kids for Kids" Campaign 5K &1 Mile Fun Run - Ottawa, OH
Come join the fun! It's a great way to be part of teaching children the importance of helping others while getting some exercise! This year’s event will be focused on helping others. Barrett Lammers, a preschool student here at Loving Care, was born with polycystic kidney disease. He had been doing well managing with this until a few months ago when an abnormal growth was found between his liver and pancreas called a choledochal cyst. This required him to have an extensive surgery and rehabilitation this spring. His prognosis is positive, however, he will need to have continued close monitoring throughout his entire life. We are planning a 5K Run, 1 Mile Fun Run and Diaper Dash with all proceeds from this event being donated to Barrett’s family to assist with medical expenses.

Tell Your Story- Comic Style! - Valle Verde Elementary
Classroom: B-7 Instructor: Sabine Kroeber Every child has a story to tell – and what better way than to tell it with their own comic! Students will learn how to design their own cartoon characters on the computer and bring them to life using posing and emotion controls. The use of background, props, speech bubbles and props will be discussed. We will take photos at Valle Verde and import them to create a comic happening at our school! High School & Junior College Evaluation Camp - Roadrunner Baseball Field
Evaluation Camp: Check in 8:00 - 9:00 AM. Camp Hours will be 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. We will take a 30 min lunch break around 12:30 PM. The morning will consist of a pro-style workout that will assess running, throwing, and fielding tools. The afternoon will consist of Batting Practice and pitchers throwing to hitters in a game format. Each player will receive a written evaluation of their skills from a UTSA Staff Member at the conclusion of camp. 210-458-4811
